FINN, nature is a spectacle

The 28th edition of the Festival International Nature Namur will be held from 14 to 23 October, with a wide range of activities including a photo exhibition, nature films and conferences...

The Royal Forestry Society of Belgium is taking part in this year's event, offering field trips to discover the forest and foresters:

15 & 16/10 - 10:30 to 17:00 "Art Forêt - Terroir" day - Walking

Guided tour of the Romanesque church of Waha (10th century), the famous stained glass windows by Jean-Michel Folon and the sculptures by the Maitre de Waha (16th century). Giant mushroom omelette. Guided tour of a mosaic forest: how to manage a multifunctional ecosystem that reconciles economic, biodiversity, social and landscape aspects... in anticipation of climate change.

Practical information:

  • Price : 5€
  • RDV : N4 to Marche. 500m after the "Centre" exit, turn right towards Waha. Car park 100m below the church, rue du Maquis.

  • Terms and conditions : Clothing and footwear suited to the forest and the weather. Children welcome. PRMs can enjoy a walk around the châlet and the ponds. Discreet dogs on leads are welcome.

16/10 - 09:00 to 12:00 Waking up to the forest - Boninne

Activity for all ages, 3km walk, a morning in the forest

Animated walk for children. Let's set off together to discover the forest! Come and discover the forest as a source of life, in close contact with mankind.
