What should your declaration contain?
Your claim statement must include the following information:
Your RFSB membership number
The date of the damage
The scene of the incident
(cadastral plot number)
The circumstances of the incident
What happened?
The cause of the incident
(falling branches, falling trees, rockfalls, mudslides…)
A description of the damage
The identity of the insured party and their full contact details
Photos of the disaster
The amicable statement
The various documents that have been forwarded to you by the policyholder or their insurer
Are you disputing the facts, the extent of the damage, or your liability?

You have reported your claim. And then what?
Opening the file
You will receive an acknowledgement of receipt for your tax return.
This is forwarded to the insurance company Vivium via our independent broker (FSMA: 0419 138 285).
A file has been opened and the file references have been passed to you.

File processing
Notre compagnie se met en rapport avec la partie adverse et lui demande les pièces justificatives (version de l’autre partie, réclamation chiffrée, etc.).
Dans certains cas, un expert se rendra sur place pour statuer quant à votre responsabilité, évaluer les dommages…

Compensation for damages
Si votre responsabilité est reconnue et que le montant des dommages est établi, Vivium indemnise le tiers après déduction de la franchise.
