International Forest Day & early spring
The renewal of a forest that wants the best for us
March 21 marks both the International Day of Forests and the first day of spring: what better way to celebrate nature’s rebirth and enjoy its benefits than a walk in the forest? The forest is waking up, the sap is rising, the buds are opening… Why not take the opportunity to go and meet it?
The Royal Forestry Society of Belgium (Société Royale Forestière de Belgique) offers you two unique experiences to reconnect with the forest and your own nature:

Discovering buds and their benefits in herbal medicine
March 23, 2025 – Braine-le-Comte
In spring, the forest is full of treasures with unsuspected benefits. During this guided walk, discover the buds of trees and shrubs, their uses in herbal medicine (gemmotherapy), and the new energy they carry within them.

Reconnecting with the forest - Reconnecting with nature
The April 27, Mei 25 and June 22 – Chaumont-Gistoux
Nature is a precious ally for our mental and physical well-being. In a peaceful forest setting, let yourself be guided by Philippe de Wouters (forester) and Frédérique Miserocchi (physiotherapist and Brain Gym© trainer) for a 3.5-hour sensory immersion. Breathe, feel, and let the forest help you rediscover your own inner renewal.

Becoming a forest guide: forestry immersion and educational tools
The April 26 and Mei 17 - Bierwart & Malonne
Are you nature guides, facilitators, teachers, or landowners? Motivated to share your passion for the forest? Come discover the aspects of forest management and get hands-on experience with various educational tools during this practical training!
Spring is an invitation to change and regeneration…
and if you started with an immersion in the forest?
