Receive your free map - PEFC
Good news!
If you are certified PEFC, you can request free mapping of your forest.
This will be done on the basis of the proof of ownership that you provided when you joined or when you signed the new charter. This document will be invaluable for drawing up your Document Simple de Gestion (to be submitted before 7 July 2025 for former certified members and within one year of joining for new certified members).
You will receive your map in formats:
- shapefile (useful for mapping software such as QGis or ArcGis);
- Image png with IGN map backgrounds, orthophotoplanes, land registry, soil maps, ancient forests, hunting council, hydrography, Natura 2000.
The request should be sent to pefc@srfb-kbbm.be. Please note that it may take up to 2 months from the time you request your map to send it to you. Your map is only accessible to you and the SRFB PEFC unit. The protection of your confidential information is our priority.
This initiative aims to support you in the management of your forests and to help you meet the requirements for certification.
