Enclosure

13 volunteers/coaches carried out annual surveys of 81 devicesspread across 34 forestry properties. The new team was given a day's training by professionals.

Coaches

12 coaches carried out plantation monitoring and produced reports for 20 sponsored plantations by the SRFB. 4 planting projects and their monitoring have been postponed until 2022. 6 are still awaiting the report or visit.

Forestry coaching

16 coaching sessions new foresters or foresters with questions during 2021.
3 klumps projects have been coached or are in the process of being coached.
42 days on-the-spot coaching.

Forest Health Observers

The OC team active in 2021 is made up of 11 people :

  • 4 members of the SRFB team
  • 7 volunteers

Planting protocols

11 OCs carried out 51 spring protocols and 51 autumn protocols. Owner and SRFB reports were sent to 14 properties. By 01 December 2021, 75 protocols had been encoded with the OWSF.
On 01 December, reports for 12 protocols on 4 properties were still pending.

V files

32 V cards were sent to the OWSF (reports of problems and symptoms). 2 O records were encoded with the OWSF, for two reports of processionary caterpillars.

A total of 109 encodings were made to the OWSF, with 282 observations of symptoms and health problems.

The Observateurs devoted 50 days in the field22 of which were followed by planting in teams of two COs.
Then there's the preparatory work: preliminary contact, analysis of the ecological file, re-reading of the problems of the species concerned.
And the follow-up work: encoding on the OWSF database, reporting to the owner and the OWSF.

Estimated: 172 days of voluntary work.
