Immersion in an estate that has been extensively modified by beavers, in the presence of the owner. Numerous wetlands along a stream, in a 1 hectare plot. A walk inspired by Baptiste Morizot, based on his book «Rendre l'eau à la terre». The land is in the process of being recognised as a nature reserve.
Indispensable boots. Off-trail walking on fairly difficult terrain. Dogs not allowed.
Registration required (limited to 15 people) with the forest guide by e-mail brigittevan@skynet.be. Admission €5.
The Société Royale Forestière de Belgique (SRFB) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to the forest and foresters. Its Forest Friends projects are aimed at the general public who want to understand the forest environment. The SRFB's volunteer Forest Guides will help you discover the forest as a source of life, in close contact with mankind.
