Arboretums: the first plantings for the 2019-2020 season will start in October

Delivery of plants produced for Arboretums by cultivation contract at the Robin nursery (France) will take place around 15 October. These plants, grown in plugs, can be planted in early autumn if the soil has sufficient moisture. This allows the trees to take root before the winter and get off to the best possible start in the spring. These early autumn plantings will involve 13 sites spread across different regions of the country.

The species concerned are Atlas cedar, pine (Scots, Corsican and maritime), Douglas fir, oak (Scots and Pubescent) and small-leaved lime.
