Walk in the Forêt de Soignes at Tervuren
Walk in the Forêt de Soignes at Tervuren
Le 14 April 2024 - Tervuren
As well as being a great place to walk, the forest is a source of health, oxygen and biodiversity. It contributes to the water cycle and climate regulation. A source of employment, it provides us with a warm, noble material. It's also a place to recharge your batteries, a place of calm and beauty, in keeping with our history. Come and soak up all these benefits!
This walk is part of a cycle in the Forêt de Soignes. See our spring, summer and autumn dates in our diary: https://www.srfb.be/formations-et-activites/
Walk for the general public: families, adults of all ages, young people. We recommend a minimum age of 7 for children. Our dog friends don't like our explanations. Leave them at home instead. The walk is about 5 km long.
Meet at the end of the Drève des Capucines carriageway (Kapucijnendreef 74, 3090 Tervuren). You can park along the Drève des Capucines or walk 600 m to the Tervuren arboretum on the Jezus Eiklaan.
Registration required, places are limited. Please complete 1 registration form per participant.
The Royale Forestry Society of Belgium (RFSB) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to the forest and foresters. Its Forest Friends projects are aimed at the general public who want to understand the forest environment. The RFSB's volunteer Forest Guides will help you discover the forest as a source of life, in close contact with mankind.
