Assisted migration in practice
Le 29 August 2025 - Daverdisse et Paliseul
Objectives
Forests are threatened by various health and climate crises. Spruce bark beetle, ash blight and alternating droughts and extreme rainfall make them vulnerable. To preserve forests, foresters can take action by planting species or origins from southern and eastern Europe. This is known as assisted migration. On this day, we will be discussing these new species, their supply and planting in practice.
