Innovative regeneration routes
Le 12 May 2025 - Gembloux
Objectives
Wallonia's forests are facing an unprecedented health and climate crisis, and forest owners are being urged to change their practices. They are advised to act differently in order to protect the forest floor from compaction, to diversify their silvicultural regeneration schemes and to mix forest species in order to obtain more resilient forests, particularly in the face of climate change. During this conference, we will look at these different aspects of resilient forest management and present the main lessons learned from the «innovative itineraries» project.»
