Against forest fires
What is it all about?
![Amifor - insurance for your forests](https://srfb.be/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/Logo_AMIFOR_moyen.png)
Amifor is a mutual forest fire insurance company created by foresters for foresters. It covers private and public forest owners against fire in their forests.
Rate
The contribution depends on whether the insured is a private or public owner.
For private law forest owners (individuals, companies) the fee is fixed, regardless of the species, age or structure of the stand: €3.26 / ha, with a minimum of €20 per file.
For communes and other public owners (Provinces, CPAS, Church fabriques, ...) the contribution is also fixed, but reduced to 3.03 €/ha, as public owners are not subject to insurance tax.
