Continuing education in forestry sciences

This course is organised by the Haute École Provinciale de Hainaut - Condorcet (HEPHCon) with the support of the Haute Ecole de la Province de Namur (HEPN) and the Société Royale Forestière de Belgique (SRFB) and is aimed at anyone with a basic scientific knowledge of forestry and the environment.

Baccalaureate holders in environment and in forest and nature receive high-quality initial training, but there are no organised continuing education courses directly available to them. Methods and tools are evolving in all areas: legislation, silviculture, cartography, dendrology and site suitability, etc. And if a brief survey we carried out at the end of 2019 is anything to go by, there is a real demand for updates and additional knowledge.

With this in mind, we would like to organise a continuing education in forest management to refresh knowledge and provide training in new technologies and techniques.
