Forest management in the face of global warming

On 28 September, l'Éventail magazine organised an evening event on the subject of adapting forests to climate change. Professor Bart Muys of the KULeuven introduced the subject and outlined various possible solutions. Frédéric Petit (NTF) highlighted the legislative constraints on adapting forests, and visionary forest owner Ramon Reyntiens shared his experience of 30 years of forestry experiments in his Ardennes and Gaum woods. Our colleague, Nicolas Dassonville, was invited to present our project Trees for futureand the SRFB's vision for the use of exotic species.
