Objectives
In the current context of climate change, we're looking at promising species mixes for the future, with a particular focus on natural regeneration to work with what nature has to offer. We'll also be looking at the subject of tillage and the importance of preserving it. The various stands of mixed species: red oak, larch, alder, birch, Scots pine and many other species will show us that it is possible, with natural regeneration, to diversify while producing quality wood.
- How do you set up natural regeneration?
- How to work on natural regeneration?
- What silvicultural methods should be adopted to produce good quality wood?
- Reflection and questions
Speakers
- Philippe de Wouters, RFSB
- Grégory JanssensForest manager and expert
