Forest certification for forests and companies
Forest certification for forests and companies
Le 20 June 2023 - Rachecourt and Virton
Objectives
Against a backdrop of climate change and health crises, the sustainable management of our forests is at the heart of the debate. Forest owners must make their forests resilient and ensure a balance between the different functions they perform (ecological, economic and social). As for businesses and consumers, they are attaching increasing importance to the type of wood they use and its environmental impact. That's why it seems important to initiate such meetings. Come and share the experiences of private owners at this one-day event. The morning will be devoted to visiting private forest plots to illustrate the application of the 14 points of the PEFC charter. In the afternoon, we will have the opportunity to visit the PEFC-certified company Burgo Ardennes, which guarantees its customers the use of sustainably managed wood.
Appropriate clothing and walking shoes.
