Tree growth, photosynthesis
10 to 12 years
CARAH asbl (Cellule Forêt Nature Environnement), Hout Info Bois asbl, Royal Forestry Society of Belgium, with the educational support and co-designer of Empreintes asbl and with the support of the European Regional Development Fund (Interreg Va - Forêt Pro Bos).
In the form of a ‘wolf game’, the activity allows participants to experience the mechanism of photosynthesis. The roots and leaves have to catch the resources needed to produce energy and sugar: water, mineral salts, energy from the sun, carbon dioxide, etc. It's a fun way to discover photosynthesis!
