Arboretums: prospecting plots in Beauraing

In mid-February, part of the team travelled to the Beauraing area to survey potential plots for the Arboretums.

The aim: to carry out a soil survey to check that the plot meets the ecological requirements of the species to be planted next autumn.

Further surveys will take place over the coming weeks at various locations in Belgium.

It's also an opportunity to introduce you to our two trainees.

The first, Victoria Boël, is doing a one-month placement as part of her studies in sustainable development.

The second, Victoria Rousset, is doing a 6-month placement devoted to Arboretums as part of her engineering studies at AgroParisTech in Nancy.
