The ForDiL team bring together expertise in forest management and education at European level through Belgian (SRFB, Institut Technique Horticole, Centre de Développement Agroforestier de Chimay), French (Institut de Genech and UFA Bavay) and Czech (University of Mendelova) stakeholders.

In Belgium

La RFSB The SRFB is project leader in this Erasmus+ initiative. In addition to general coordination, it is also involved in the scientific synthesis work as well as in the development of marteloscopes and travailloscopes and the associated future digital application.

L’Horticultural Technical Institute de Gembloux plays a key role in the educational dimension of the project. Thanks to ForDiL, ITH students have a unique opportunity to familiarise themselves with the CCF approach, while developing their linguistic and professional skills.

The Agroforestry Development Centre The Centre de Développement Agroforestier is actively involved at various levels: identification of marteloscope sites; determination of technical protocols and development of databases; modelling of the operation of the application; technical support for development and field trials.

In France

The French partnership is supported by the Bavay UFA, attached toGenech InstituteThis secondary school and vocational college offers apprenticeships in forestry, ecological engineering, landscape management, personal services and regional development. The UFA actively participates in educational activities within the framework of the ForDiL project.

In Czech Republic

L’Mendel University in Brno (MENDELU), fondée en 1919, est la plus ancienne université spécialisée de République tchèque. Elle doit son nom à Gregor Johann Mendel, le père de la génétique moderne, qui a mené ses célèbres expériences à Brno.
MENDELU se compose de cinq facultés et d’un institut, dont la Faculté de foresterie et de technologie du bois spécifiquement impliquée dans le projet ForDiL, notamment pour tout ce qui concerne le développement de l’application numérique et l’organisation d’échanges avec les étudiants belges et français.
