Support Forest Friends!
Behind every plot of woodland is a forest manager who is committed to managing the forest in a sustainable way. But to be recognised, you need to make yourself known. That's the aim of RFSB's Forest Friends programme.
To further strengthen this programme, the SRFB wants to set up a new circuit of forest walks in Wallonia.
Users who are well-informed about the realities of the forest are also users who are more respectful of the work that is done there and aware of the ecological, economic and social contributions that the forests provide us with thanks to the foresters.
Friends of the forest and of the SRFB, it's up to you!
We're launching an appeal for donations via the MIIMOSA crowdfunding platform, dedicated to rural projects in tune with the challenges of our century (environmental, food, climate, health and energy). The funds raised will be used to develop this new walking route, specially designed to welcome and educate the public, and equipped with educational panels.

The circuit will support an agenda of walks for the general public, guided by our forest guides. Schools and companies will also be able to enjoy an educational walk in the forest, subject to prior booking.
Our long-term aim is to make this project financially self-sustaining. An investment of €5,000 is needed in 2023 to develop the project. Help us achieve this goal!

This appeal for donations is aimed at a first specific project, but we still have lots of other ideas in the pipeline! If your generosity enables us to exceed the €5,000 ceiling, other «Forest Friends» initiatives will benefit. We'll keep you informed.
