In het kader van het W.A.V.E.-project worden door de Uli\u00e8ge (Gembloux Agro-Biotech) verschillende technologische tests uitgevoerd in het LTB (Laboratorium voor houttechnologie) om het potentieel van deze soort in de bouw te evalueren. Tijdens deze halve dag zullen verschillende onderzoekers hun werk over berkenhouttechnologie presenteren. De impact van bosbeheer op de houtkwaliteit is een van de thema's die aan bod komt.
