France is home to more than 400 species of birds, half of Europe's total. In turn, the French forest and its associated habitats are home to half of the country's bird species.
\nBut the bird is not just a simple inhabitant of the forest where it finds food and a place to reproduce; it is also a craftsman who works effectively to protect it from its enemies and actively contributes to its regeneration.
