More than ever, we need your vigilance!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In June 2024, several wild boar tested positive for the African swine fever virus in Germany, just 150 km from the Belgian border.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This disease, which is almost always fatal, only affects wild boar and pigs. The virus responsible for the disease can survive for several months in wild boar carcasses and meat. It is essential to detect its possible introduction as soon as possible to limit its spread. All wild boar carcasses must therefore be tested, with the exception of those involved in road accidents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
