Objectives<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In resilient silviculture, the marking of clearings (hammering) must ensure that the stand is improved while preserving as many rare species, trees of biological interest and dead trees as possible, and ensuring that the stand is in optimum health. During the course, you will learn some good reflexes to reconcile as harmoniously as possible the objectives of production, preserving biodiversity and maintaining the proper functioning of the ecosystem. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This day will provide an opportunity to experience a real-life situation in a settlement and will be divided into four parts:  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  1. Visual inventory of the various dendromicrohabitats (DMH) and dying trees.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Designation of objective trees (elites).\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Hammering in consideration of these two elements.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Analysis of the level of stand improvement and the thresholds of dead trees and trees of biological interest reached.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
